Smart release works similar to outdoor bicycles. Even when you stop pedaling the wheels/tires keep turning. Unfortunately, most spin bikes under $2000 don’t have the smart release system. For now, the only spin bikes with smart release system that I can think of are by Schwinn and Life Fitness.

It is manually (not electronically) adjustable and provides sufficient resistance for all fitness levels.
The knob is not marked and there is no monitor to see your resistance level.

One of the selling factors of C590 L Now stationary exercise bike is the magnetic resistance system. This service-free technology provides a substantial resistance range.
It is friction-free and doesn’t come in contact with the flywheel. Therefore, it doesn’t make any noise no matter how challenging the resistance is. You can watch TV or listen to music while cycling without having to put the volume up.
Your partner also wouldn’t be disturbed if she/he is resting or relaxing while you are cycling. Additionally, the Eddy Current magnetic resistance tends to provide a smoother and more consistent ride compared to the majority of friction bikes.
Overall magnetic resistance is a great feature. Especially, if you live in apartments and would like to do spinning workout early morning or late evenings.

The belt can transfer extreme levels of torque smoothly. It also has less maintenance and noise compared to chain drive exercise bikes because it is one piece and not 100 pieces of plates, rollers, and pins.
But the belt drive system is not a huge deal these days since almost all indoor cycling bikes feature belt drive system. What is really special about this L-Now exercise bike is the quality of the belt.
Featuring car-grade belt, it is safe to say that you won’t be dealing with a stretched belt for years. Unfortunately, that is a common issue if you buy a cheap spin bike.
As for the drive mechanism design, this ICG spin bike features a low-gear-ratio and heavy flywheel system. It has 1:3 gear ration which means, the belt-ring will make 1 turn for every 3 turns of the flywheel.
It provides great momentum but when you start to pedal, it is not as fast as bikes with high-gear-ratio with a light flywheel. Overall the C590 L NOW indoor cycling bike manages to generate an incredibly smooth 360 pedal strokes similar to road bikes.

Normally, I only mention if the seat and handlebars are adjustable. But the L Now C590 cycling exercise bike has so many good little details that wouldn’t be fair if I ignore and don’t mention them.
The seat and handlebars are adjusted quickly with a unique pull-pin system. The four-grip position handlebars are great for utilizing different riding positions.
To make the handlebar adjustments even simpler and easier, the L-Now Pooboo designed this bike with a push-down lever adjustment system rather than knob adjustment.
Unfortunately, the handlebars are only vertically customizable which is the biggest design con of this bike. Lack of horizontal adjustment means the bike does not adjust comfortably for all riders. Note that as long as your inseam is from 28″ to 38″, you should be able to set up this cycle comfortable.
A good aspect of the handlebar is the large and easy to reach water bottle holder and the media shelf built on the handles that can hold your water and some accessories such as keys, phones, etc. Handlebars also have soft PVC cover to provide better grips and comfort during longer rides.
While the C590 does not have arm-rests, the handlebars have the curves to support your elbows during the triathlon/Time Trail position. For a more comfortable ride, you can always install two road bike elbow rests on the handlebars.
Featuring a unisex racing-style narrow set, the C590 L-Now cycling bike has minimizes the pressure and provides support for the riders. The seat has the standard seat clamp size and the replacements are available widely in case you want to replace the seat to a gender-specific one.

Handlebars The only design con I was able to find about the C-590 spin bike by L-Now Pooboo is the 2-way adjustable handlebars. They are not 4-way adjustable which an important factor for a proper bike fit. But, since this L Now spin bike doesn’t have a V-frame (offset frame), the lack of handlebar adjustment is not a deal-breaker.
Monitor This Pooboo spin bike is made for group cycling commercial use with fewer bells and whistles for less maintenance.
