L Now C590 Indoor Cycling Bike Review
The L NOW C590 indoor cycling stationary exercise bike is a game-changing bike for L-Now’s future in the fitness industry. Until not long ago, L-Now fitness was known for budget spin bikes. But recently it has all changed.
With C590 and D501 bike, L Now has again revolutionized indoor cycling down to the last detail. The new features on L-Now C590 include a super heavy flywheel, commercial quality construction, magnetic resistance, belt drivetrain, and sleek professional design.
Starting with the rust and corrosion resistant heavy-duty steel frame down to the 49-pound flywheel, the L Now C590 indoor bike delivers a smooth ride, style, and durability.
These components combined with the automotive quality, maintenance-free drive belt help the L Now Pooboo C590 exercise bike provide the quiet performance that every user is looking for in their home.
L Now also provides some additional functionality with this Pooboo C590 stationary exercise bike, including a multi-grip handlebar with a device holder and a large accessory/bottle holder.
Furthermore, the seat is fully adjustable in both directions up/down fore/aft ensuring a comfortable fit while keeping your cardiovascular system healthy, strengthen your legs and glutes, improve and maintain your physique, help manage your weight, and maintain joint mobility.
An attractive and essential addition is that the L NOW C590 indoor cycling bike comes with a uniquely durable bottom bracket and thick crank-arm system. A quick glance to the pedals and crank arms will give you a good idea of how solid these components are.
And if that is not enough, the C590 L Now spin bike is equipped with high-tech lever adjustment for seat and handlebars. With these convenient levers, you can say goodbye to time-consuming knobs, instead enjoy fast and simple bike setting system.
This model does not have a monitor or wireless connectivity. And it is not compatible with any cycling apps, but it does come with a phone holder to allow you to use your own device on the bike.

The C-590 indoor cycling bike by L Now features a relatively compact design compared to other types of cardio machines and it has durable wheels for easy mobility. Therefore, you can use the bike in the living room and store it after each ride easily.
L Now C590 spin bike weighs 130 pounds, it is heavy and solid which offers long-lasting durability and less maintenance. Every bit of the bike is covered with a durable protective guard to prevent humidity, sweat, and dust from entering the bearings and drive-train.
Additionally, the flywheel cover keeps kids’ naughty fingers away from sharp edges. So, if you have kids in the house, you will have peace of mind knowing all the sharp corners and dents are covered.
But that is not all the benefits of the C590’s well double-coated frame. The flywheel cover and the paint are fairly easy to clean after cycling and enjoy the combination of pro design and colors that match with almost any room decoration.
However, what makes the Pooboo C590 indoor cycling bike uniquely stable is the width and shape of the stabilizer feet. The rear stabilizer feet has a V-shape design with 3 adjustable base levelers while most spin bikes have narrower stabilizer feet with only 2 adjustable base levelers.
Bottom line is that C590 L Now exercise bike will adjust to your floor, even if the surface of your gym floor is not leveled and smooth. This L Now indoor cycling bike will provide an enjoyable steady, safe and balanced spin workout no matter the workout intensity or riding style.
- The C590 L Now bike comes without a monitor.
- It doesn’t have wireless or wireless connectivity so it is not compatible with cycling apps, devices, etc.
- Find the computer solution for the L-Now C-590 exercise bike below.
- C590 bike has a tablet holder built-on the handlebars.
Reading this L Now C590 indoor cycling bike review, you already know the C590 bike comes without a console and it is not compatible with cycling apps. But here is what you may not know.
You can use this quality bike without paying for technology you may not need. But if you do want to track your progress and join indoor cycling Apps such as Zwift, you can use a pair of watt pedals.
They cost anywhere from $400 to $800 and easily replace your C590’s pedals. Featuring Bluetooth and ANT/+ connectivity, they pair up with your smart devices (tablet, phone, TV, etc).
Depending on the model of the pedals, you can track your RPM, Watts, speed, time, distance and a few other useful metrics. Wearing a chest strap, you can also track your heart rate.
As a matter of fact, if you want to ride and compete online, we recommend the C590 Pooboo indoor cycle instead of pricey indoor cycling bikes with basic monitors. While they cost $2000 to $3000, they can’t pair up with popular cycling Apps such as Zwift. On the contrary spending $1500 for the C590 bike and $500 for the pedals, you can ride this bike with any cycling apps you like.
Note: If you don’t want to spend much, you can buy a Bluetooth Wahoo RPM/Cadence sensor and enjoy your ride on the spinning apps online. It doesn’t track your watt/power output but it does track the RPM and costs less than $40.
Pedals and Q-factor:
- C590 L Now indoor bike pedals are toe cage only.
- They have the standard 9/16″ pedal thread size.
- The C590 L Now cycling exercise bike Q factor is not disclosed.
The L NOW indoor cycling bike stationary exercise bike-(C590) comes with single-sided toe cage pedals. They are are not SPD compatible. So, you can not exercise with clipless cycling shoes for a more intense and safer ride.
But thankfully, the L now exercise bike C590 features the standard pedal thread size so the SPD pedal replacements are available widely.
The information regarding the q-factor is not disclosed but featuring an overall ergonomic design, I believe the L Now Pooboo C590 exercise bike q-factor is below 180 MM.
In case you are new to the indoor cycling world, the distance between the two pedals is called q-factor. Too much distance between the pedals keeps your feet wider than your hips and knees. Therefore, you might feel extra pressure and sometimes it can even cause injuries for the knees and ankles.
Last but not least in this section is the crank arm. They are one of the thickest and most durable looking crank arms I have seen in years of reviewing and riding spin bikes. No matter your riding position (on the saddle or out of the saddle) the C-590 spin bike by L-Now Pooboo will not break.
- C590 flywheel weighs 49 pounds.
- This L Now indoor cycling bike has a fixed-wheel mechanism.
- L NOW C590 indoor cycling bike features a front -.
- There is a full flywheel protection guard to keep the sweat off the bearings, flywheel, and magnets.
Also, in terms of the flywheel, the L Now C590 stationary exercise bike is pretty unique. Featuring a 49-pound flywheel helps to provide a fast cadence cardio workout as well as high-intensity strength workouts.
The C590 L Now indoor cycling bike flywheel is located in front of the bike which means it is right under the sweat zone. But it is not a problem to worry about because the C590 L Now indoor bike features a sweat protection guard.
The flywheel is protected by a durable sweat-resistance guard. It keeps the curious finger away and protects the flywheel when moving the bike. It is a well-thought detail that can be found on this and a few other L Now stationary exercise bikes.
As I mentioned earlier in this L Now C590 indoor bike review, the flywheel is fixed, unlike some expensive models that have the smart release. What it means is that the flywheel and the pedals move and stop together.
So, when you are riding the bike, you can not immediately jump off the bike in case of emergency, you need to wait for the flywheel to stop turning. Then you can get off the bike, take a two-second break to refresh after HIIT session.
Smart release works similar to outdoor bicycles. Even when you stop pedaling the wheels/tires keep turning. Unfortunately, most spin bikes under $2000 don’t have the smart release system. For now, the only spin bikes with smart release system that I can think of are by Schwinn and Life Fitness.
Pooboo C590 Resistance:
- The C590 bike has a magnetic resistance system.
- L-Now C590 cycling bike features an easy to use and reach knob adjustment.
- It is manually (not electronically) adjustable and provides sufficient resistance for all fitness levels.
- The knob is not marked and there is no monitor to see your resistance level.
- C590 magnetic L Now cycling exercise bike has the push-down emergency brake.
One of the selling factors of C590 L Now stationary exercise bike is the magnetic resistance system. This service-free technology provides a substantial resistance range.
It is friction-free and doesn’t come in contact with the flywheel. Therefore, it doesn’t make any noise no matter how challenging the resistance is. You can watch TV or listen to music while cycling without having to put the volume up.
Your partner also wouldn’t be disturbed if she/he is resting or relaxing while you are cycling. Additionally, the Eddy Current magnetic resistance tends to provide a smoother and more consistent ride compared to the majority of friction bikes.
Overall magnetic resistance is a great feature. Especially, if you live in apartments and would like to do spinning workout early morning or late evenings.
As you might have read the C-590 L Now indoor cycling bike reviews across the web, this bike has a challenging resistance system. But unfortunately, the bike doesn’t have the monitor and the resistance knob is not marked. So, you can not see which resistance level you are cycling on.
L Now C590 Drive-System:
- L Now indoor cycle C590 has a single belt drivetrain.
- It has a durable high-quality belt.
- The gear ratio is not disclosed but estimated to be 1:3.
- Drivetrain and bearings feature full protection guard.
The belt can transfer extreme levels of torque smoothly. It also has less maintenance and noise compared to chain drive exercise bikes because it is one piece and not 100 pieces of plates, rollers, and pins.
But the belt drive system is not a huge deal these days since almost all indoor cycling bikes feature belt drive system. What is really special about this L-Now exercise bike is the quality of the belt.
Featuring car-grade belt, it is safe to say that you won’t be dealing with a stretched belt for years. Unfortunately, that is a common issue if you buy a cheap spin bike.
As for the drive mechanism design, this ICG spin bike features a low-gear-ratio and heavy flywheel system. It has 1:3 gear ration which means, the belt-ring will make 1 turn for every 3 turns of the flywheel.
It provides great momentum but when you start to pedal, it is not as fast as bikes with high-gear-ratio with a light flywheel. Overall the C590 L NOW indoor cycling bike manages to generate an incredibly smooth 360 pedal strokes similar to road bikes.
Handlebars and Seat:
- C590 L Now exercise bike handlebars feature push down lever to allow rapid, safe adjustment.
- The handlebars are 2-way adjustable and feature Ergo-formed, multi-position, soft PVC.
- C590 has a convenient water bottle holder integrated on the handlebar.
- L-Now Pooboo C590 seat is racing style unisex with thine padding for low-friction comfortable long rides.
- Four-way adjustable seat.
- Handlebar and seat are marked for easy adjustment.
Normally, I only mention if the seat and handlebars are adjustable. But the L Now C590 cycling exercise bike has so many good little details that wouldn’t be fair if I ignore and don’t mention them.
The seat and handlebars are adjusted quickly with a unique pull-pin system. The four-grip position handlebars are great for utilizing different riding positions.
To make the handlebar adjustments even simpler and easier, the L-Now Pooboo designed this bike with a push-down lever adjustment system rather than knob adjustment.
Unfortunately, the handlebars are only vertically customizable which is the biggest design con of this bike. Lack of horizontal adjustment means the bike does not adjust comfortably for all riders. Note that as long as your inseam is from 28″ to 38″, you should be able to set up this cycle comfortable.
A good aspect of the handlebar is the large and easy to reach water bottle holder and the media shelf built on the handles that can hold your water and some accessories such as keys, phones, etc. Handlebars also have soft PVC cover to provide better grips and comfort during longer rides.
While the C590 does not have arm-rests, the handlebars have the curves to support your elbows during the triathlon/Time Trail position. For a more comfortable ride, you can always install two road bike elbow rests on the handlebars.
Featuring a unisex racing-style narrow set, the C590 L-Now cycling bike has minimizes the pressure and provides support for the riders. The seat has the standard seat clamp size and the replacements are available widely in case you want to replace the seat to a gender-specific one.
Note: No matter how comfortable the seat is, a 50-minute indoor cycling exercise can cause irritation and chafing unless you are wearing proper cycling shorts. (Search our website for the best men and women spinning shorts).
C590 Cycle Price and Warranty:
- L-Now Pooboo C590 price is around $1600 when buying from Amazon.
- The L Now C590 warranty includes:
- 1-Year structural frame
- 1-Year all parts and components
- Note: The only to way to contact L-Now for parts under warranty is via Amazon messages.
Clicking on the link, you can see the current price for the C-590 indoor cycling bike by L Now on Amazon. In April, this bike is priced at around $1600 which is a good value considering the pro design and commercial quality.
As you read earlier in this L Now bike review, the warranty is not impressive compared to what Life Fitness, Sole Fitness or Bodycraft offer for their bikes. But thankfully the L Now has many top-rated consumer reviews to confirm the quality and provide peace of mind.
However, if you prefer a bike with similar features at the same price point but with better warranties, I recommend the BodyCraft SPT-Mag and the life Fitness IC4. They are both commercial quality indoor cycles with industry-leading q-factors and fully adjustable handlebars.
Another disadvantage of L-Now fitness equipment brand is that they don’t have a website so if you need to order parts under warranty, the only way to reach them is through Amazon Messages.
Assembly and shipping:
- This L-Now indoor cycling bike ships in two boxes that weigh 140 pounds in total.
- The shipping is free for Pooboo C590 indoor cycle.
- L Now C590 assembly is very easy but it is not included.
- The L-Now C590 manual and assembly tools are included.
Pretty much all Pooboo indoor cycles are easy to assemble because they all come mainly pre-assembled. As for C590, the assembly is even easier because this bike is not equipped with an LCD monitor.
So, all you need to do is to attach the front and rear base supports, the handlebars, sea, and the pedals. The drive-train, flywheel, crank-arms, magnets and the rest of the bike come assembled.
It is much easier to put the bike together if you do it in two. Last but not least, the L-Now Pooboo Group cycling C590 shipping is free when buying from Amazon. Note: The right pedal need be screwed in clockwise, and the left one counter-clockwise.
L Now C590 Pros:
The design of non-touch magnetic resistance and belt drive system create an unbelievably smooth and nearly silent ride, this bike is very suitable for indoor exercise. It will NEVER disturb the families or roommate and virtually no maintenance requested.
Safe & Convenient:
Emergency stop brake and lever adjustment for seat and handlebars. Multi-use holder can support the tablet, phones, water bottle, and other things. There are 2 transportation wheels for easy movement.
The handlebars can be moved horizontally for a custom fit. They’re also shaped and curved to support different riding positions. With the option to reposition your hands during a ride, you can extend your workout session.

- Quiet, reliable and low-maintenance single-belt drive train
- Superior biomechanics and ergonomics ensure correct posture whilst riding and enable all users to enjoy the uncompromising performance.
- Stronger bearings tested for commercial use
- 4-Way adjustable and spinning style seat to comfortably support long rides and to fit those users with different heights
- Commercial quality frame and components
L Now C590 Cons:
The only design con I was able to find about the C-590 spin bike by L-Now Pooboo is the 2-way adjustable handlebars. They are not 4-way adjustable which an important factor for a proper bike fit. But, since this L Now spin bike doesn’t have a V-frame (offset frame), the lack of handlebar adjustment is not a deal-breaker.
This Pooboo spin bike is made for group cycling commercial use with fewer bells and whistles for less maintenance. But to give an option for those who want to buy this bike for their home gyms, it would have been nice to receive some sort of monitor to track the RPM, Watts, Heart Rate, Time, Distance and Speed.
- C-590 L Now indoor cycling bike doe not have wireless connectivity to send workout data to indoor cycling training apps.
- Pooboo C-590 Group cycling is covered by a relatively short (1-year) warranty.
