The Otium Headphones are a great example of excellent earwear. Firstly the design, you might notice they are very similar to the Beats headphones, and they are Semi Wired, which means they are wireless but connect between the buds. They are very light and look classy and natural because they are in earbuds are noise canceling.

The Sound quality is excellent on these. They may not be the loudest, but because they cancel the noise out elsewhere, you find yourself being able to hear much better at lower volumes. It has a few buttons on which give you the ability to skip tracks, change the volume, pause and obviously turn off and on. The battery life will provide you with a 9 hour charge which I think is fantastic on a set of headphones so light and small.

Something I liked about these headphones is the fact they are IPX7, so they have an excellent waterproof rating. This made these appealing because I know not only are they protected from sweat but also, when I use them outdoors, they will be fine. They are fantastic value for money and the cheapest on this list. I am very prone to losing my headphones, so a set at this price is perfect. I can’t recommend them enough.

Pros

  • Simple Design
  • Waterproof
  • Noise Cancelling

Cons

  • No Backup Battery Charging
  • Semi Wireless

Occiam True Bluetooth Headphones

3. Occiam Wireless Earbuds

9.4

The Occiam Headphones are unique and have some excellent features, so few wireless headphones have. They are completely wireless, meaning they are they work independently. The design is simple. It’s an in earbud design with a sports strap on, which loops over the top of the ear lobe. They stay super snug to you, even when on the Peloton or running. You find they don’t move a millimeter. The sound quality is outstanding and always clear, even with loud background noise. They block it well and keep you in your headspace free. I was very impressed when I first used them to what they offered on the clarity of the music.

When it comes to the buttons, these headphones are very fabulous. Firstly they both have buttons on each side, two on the top one on the side. With these, you can control tracks, volume, and on or off. What is very impressive though, is if you feel the need just to use one headphone. For example, if you’re waiting for a person to come to the door and need to hear, you can still control everything just from one side. Great for Peloton and outdoor running and times when you need to be aware of your surroundings.

The battery is incredible. You will roughly get about 8 hours from each bud when being used. Then you can put them back into the case, and the internal battery will recharge them for you. It has the ability to share them 5 times from empty, giving you 48 hours of playtime before you need to see them plugged in the wall. If you are unsure of the battery left, it has LEDs to tell you when the buds are charging and a percentage gauge. They are IPx5, so not as waterproof as the Otium, but it will still be ok if you were out in the rain.

Pros

  • Simple Design
  • Noise Cancelling
  • Charge Case
  • Long Battery life
  • Full Wireless
  • Sports hooks

Cons

  • Not super water proof

Tozo T10 Bluetooth Ear Buds

2. TOZO T10 Bluetooth Headphones
✓ Best choice

9.4

The Tozo T10 buds are fantastic. They are similar to the Occiam in the fact they have a case that can charge them, but they have a completely different design when it comes to the actual Ear Phone itself. They are just a straight bud with no sports clip. If you’re worried about them falling out, don’t be. They’re excellent and will stay nice and tight.

The sound quality is probably one of the best on this list. It has large speakers inside and delivers a powerful level of bass and treble. They sound insane, and you won’t believe what you will hear through such a small device. Instead of buttons, they are touch-sensitive, which means you just lightly tap the side to change volume and skip tracks, etc. This is good, but if you are very sweaty can give the wrong command every so often.

The Battery life is fantastic. Without charge, the buds will give you 6 hours, and the case will internally charge them 5 times before you need to see a wall socket. I was impressed with these headphones because they are entirely waterproof and can last underwater one meter for up to thirty minutes. As far as price goes, they are not expensive and well worth the money you will need to spend.

Pros

  • Simple Design
  • Waterproof
  • Noise Cancelling
  • Backup Battery
  • Full Wireless

Cons

  • Touch buttons not classic button

Aftershocks Aeropex Open Ear Headphones

1. AFTERSHOKZ Aeropex Open-Ear
✓ Best choice

9.4

The Aftershocks Aeropex are some very cool headphones and for so many reasons. Firstly you might notice they actually don’t go into your ears, and they just sit by the side of them. These are because they are what they call bone conducting headphones. Yes, you heard me right there. They send vibrations through the head and jaw, which play the music for you instead. These are an amazing tool and perfect for people who need to listen to outside noise while training on their Peloton.

The sound quality is outstanding, and it offers a certain level of clarity that in-ear headphones can’t always provide. They are not like regular headphones, and it can be tough to get your head around how they work at first. They have a few buttons on which give you the option to skip tracks, change the volume, and answer calls or pause the music. The battery will provide you with 8 hours before recharging, which I thought was good battery life. Unlike the Tozo or the Occiam they will need an external power source for each charge.

They are IP67 and will be splash-proof, but you are not going to want to go swimming while wearing these, or you will be looking at buying a new pair very quickly. They are much more expensive than anything else on this list, but they have a tremendous amount of technology and work completely different from the other headphones here.

Pros

  • Simple Design
  • Waterproof

Cons

  • No Backup Battery Charging
  • Not noise Cancelling
  • Price

Editors Choice

These are all fabulous headphones and will be so beneficial to your training. I personally have struggled to pick a recommendation as they are all so good. If you are looking for something that isn’t going to be in your ears, the Aftershocks are the headphones for you. If you are looking for something to use outdoors on runs and while cycling that will stay solid and last for days, then the Occiam headphones. If you tend to lose headphones easily and replace them often, the Otium ones are great value for money. Finally, if you are looking for fantastic sounds and want them hidden, it has to be the Tozos.

They are all incredible headphones, but the choice for myself would be the Occiam earbuds. They are just great, not just for riding your Peloton but for so much. The battery life is absolutely incredible, and they are just so well made. The price is so low for what you get as well. I highly recommend them and feel anyone would benefit from having these. Whatever you pick all of these are going to be excellent indoor cycling headphones for the Peloton bike.
